New API for Retrieving Authorized Study IDs Available Now

This release includes a new feature that allows you to programmatically access your authorized study IDs from the RAS passport via the Gen3 Data Commons Framework (DCF) service.

New Features

You can now retrieve your approved study permissions through a new API endpoint. This endpoint returns a list of controlled‑access datasets that your account is authorized to access. This enhancement helps you:

  • Automate downstream workflows before processing sensitive data

  • Quickly troubleshoot data access related issues in your workflows

To use this feature, your RAS (eRA Commons) account must be linked to your platform account, and you must have approved Data Access Requests (DARs) in dbGaP for the studies you want to access.
